Purposeful Work partnered with The Dance Department to celebrate their 50 Year Reunion and sponsor alumni travel and interactive performance panels. I was tasked with designing complimentary posters: one for the weekend reunion and one for an alum performance and discussion with the incredible NYC-based queer, Black, trans alum Ya-Ya Fairley.
I was also in charge of training students to moderate the three Saturday panels: Arts and Activism, Bodies of Work, and Dance And...
We practiced and role-played how to clarify the panel's objective, re-direct questions, strategically keep the panelists on-task, and gracefully conclude the panel. Here is an article detailing the weekend's reunion.
